I had started working predominantly in DADGAD tuning when I was working on this piece. I had come up with the main riff and was working towards a self imposed deadline when all of a sudden my phone continued to violently vibrate. I ignored it until I could ignore no longer. It was my good friend Tasha looking for a chat. Before I knew it I was thrown into a conversation about life, time, space, quantum physics, the universe and everything in between. Once the conversation had died and I had returned my reclusive state I continued to write with these themes and images in mind. Spatial Relativity was born.
